ARRI 435 XTREME

The Arri 435 Xtreme represents the final and most advanced evolution of the legendary 435 series. Released in 2004, it consolidated the best features of its predecessors—the 435 ES and 435 Advanced—while integrating the Functional Expansion Module 2 (FEM-2) directly into the body.
Designed primarily as an MOS (motor only sync) camera, it is an industry powerhouse for high-speed action, music videos, and complex visual effects, offering unparalleled frame-rate flexibility and motion control integration.

Integrated Electronics: By combining previous add-on modules (FEM-2) into the core body, the Xtreme offers a streamlined, “all-in-one” design that reduces external cabling and setup time.
Extreme Speed Range: Offers a crystal-controlled frame rate from 0.1 to 150 fps (forward and reverse), allowing for everything from extreme slow motion to precise time-lapse.
Seamless Speed Ramping: Features a new ramp generator for smoother transitions between different frame rates and shutter angles, which is essential for creative “speed ramps” within a single shot.
Lens Data System (LDS): Inherited from the Arricam line, the built-in LDS saves time on set by electronically tracking lens settings (focus, iris, zoom) and feeding them to the video assist and post-production.
ArriMotion Integration: Specifically designed for advanced motion control, supporting frame-accurate “go-motion” and “stop-motion” photography.
Integrated Wireless Radio: Includes a modular wireless radio unit for cable-free remote control of camera functions and lens motors.
