The Sony Venice 1 is a full-frame digital cinema camera renowned for its exceptional image quality, wide dynamic range (15+ stops), and versatile recording options. The Rialto extension system allows for the physical separation of the camera’s image sensor block from the main body.

Sensor Extension: Enables the sensor block and lens to be separated from the camera body by up to 18 feet (with an extension cable), providing unparalleled flexibility for shooting in tight spaces, on gimbals, handheld rigs, and underwater housings.
Uncompromised Image Quality: Maintains the original Sony Venice’s 6K full-frame sensor quality and features, including its Dual Base ISO (500 and 2500) and 8-step internal ND filters.
Enhanced Mobility: The separated image block is significantly lighter (around 4 lbs with PL mount, 3 lbs with E-mount), improving maneuverability for various shooting scenarios.
Retained Functionality: All advanced features of the Sony Venice 1 are fully functional when used with the Rialto, including its wide color space and recording formats.
Added Connectivity: The Rialto system adds an HD-SDI output and 12V/24V power output at the sensor block, facilitating the use of on-camera monitors and powering accessories.
