The ZEISS Supreme Prime family is a professional cinema lens series designed to meet the demands of large-format digital cinematography. Balancing high-speed performance with a compact, lightweight form factor, these lenses are engineered for consistency across the entire range (15mm to 200mm). Unlike the clinical sharpness of some modern optics, the Supreme Primes offer a “gentle sharpness” and an organic look that is particularly flattering for skin tones.

Large Format Coverage: Featuring an image circle of 46.3 mm, these lenses fully cover Full Frame, VistaVision, and Super 35 sensors, making them a future-proof investment for modern camera systems.
High Speed (T1.5): The majority of the set features a fast T1.5 aperture, providing exceptional low-light performance and shallow depth-of-field control.
eXtended Data (XD) Technology: A unique metadata system that records frame-accurate lens distortion and shading data. This significantly accelerates VFX workflows and post-production compositing.
Mechanical Consistency: Nearly all lenses in the series share a 95mm front diameter and standardized gear positions for focus and iris, allowing for rapid lens changes without re-adjusting follow-focus motors or matte boxes.
