The PS Technik Kowa Evolution 2X series is a modern mechanical rehousing of the legendary vintage Kowa Prominar Anamorphic lenses. This set—comprising the 40mm, 50mm, 70mm, and 100mm primes, plus the 32mm wide-angle adapter—retains the sought-after low-contrast, warm flares, and unique “bokeh” of the 1960s originals while providing the reliability of contemporary cinema housing.

Vintage Optical Soul: Utilizes original glass to deliver classic anamorphic characteristics, including organic flares and a gentle, “creamy” aesthetic that takes the edge off modern digital sensors.
Modern Mechanics: Rehousing features internal focusing and cam-driven mechanics, ensuring the lens length remains constant and the front element does not rotate.
Compact & Lightweight: Known for being some of the smallest anamorphic lenses available, making them ideal for handheld, gimbal, or drone work.
Standardized Design: All lenses in the core set feature matched gear positions for focus and iris, along with a uniform 80mm front diameter for easy matte box transitions.
