Designed by cinematographer Bradford Young, ASC, and Neil Fanthom, these lenses are crafted to counter the clinical sharpness of modern digital sensors. The X-Tuned variant specifically prioritizes an ethereal, low-contrast aesthetic with exaggerated optical “imperfections” that mimic the soul and character of mid-20th-century glass.
