CINETAPE MEASURE System, developed by Cinematography Electronics, is the industry-standard ultrasonic distance-measuring tool used in professional filmmaking. It functions as an electronic “tape measure” by emitting ultrasonic sound pulses that bounce off subjects to provide a real-time, continuous distance readout. This data allows Focus Pullers (1st ACs) to maintain sharp focus during complex shots without needing to manually measure with a physical tape.
