The Apollo Xelmus Anamorphic series is a set of premium 2x squeeze lenses designed for full-frame cinematography. Drawing inspiration from the classic “Panavision look,” these lenses utilize a sophisticated “anti-mump” focusing system to deliver a vintage aesthetic with modern mechanical reliability. This series is more than just a set of lenses; it is a specialized optical achievement that bridges the gap between vintage Panavision aesthetics and modern engineering. Designed and manufactured in Kharkiv, Ukraine, these lenses have gained a “cult” following for their ability to provide high-end cinematic character in a surprisingly compact form factor.
