1. SCOPE AND SERVICES

FJS International (“the Company,” “We,” “Us”) operates as an independent brokerage facilitating the sale and purchase of new and used professional cinematographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, and support gear. 2. BROKERAGE ROLE & AVAILABILITY

• Independent Broker: We act as an intermediary between global buyers and sellers. We negotiate deals and coordinate escrow services to protect both parties from fraud.

• Availability: All listings are subject to prior sale. We must reconfirm availability with the equipment owner before a sale is finalized.

• Accuracy: While we work with owners to ascertain condition and service history, descriptions are based on owner-provided data.

3. PRICING AND PAYMENTS

• Currency: Prices are typically listed in USD or EUR as specified. Prices are subject to change without notice.

• Payment Method: Bank Wire Transfer Only. We do not accept credit cards, checks, or PayPal.

• Commission: FJS International adds a commission to the seller’s net price.

4. SHIPPING, TITLE, AND RISK

• FOB Terms: All shipments are FOB (Free On Board) from the point of origin. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer once the equipment is delivered to the carrier.

• Costs: Shipping, handling, and courier fees are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Duties and Taxes: The buyer is solely responsible for all import duties, VAT, customs fees, and local taxes required by authorities in the USA, Europe, or other international regions.

• Insurance: FJS International maintains its own shipping insurance for added protection during transit.

5. CONDITION AND WARRANTIES

• Used Equipment: Sold “As-Is” without warranty unless specified. Gear is expected to have “reasonable wear and tear” consistent with age.

• The “Good Working Condition” Guarantee: If a used item is received and is not in good working condition, FJS International reserves the right to pay a technician of its choice to rectify the issue.

• Inspection: Buyers are encouraged to inspect gear or request technical evaluations before final payment.

6. DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS

• Forfeiture: Deposits are forfeited if the buyer cancels without written agreement or fails to pay the balance within 14 business days.

• Refunds: Deposits are refundable only if a technical evaluation reveals discrepancies from the advertised condition and the seller refuses to fund the necessary repairs.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

FJS International cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. We are not liable for:

• Delays caused by banks, manufacturers, customs, or couriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL).

• Consequential Damages: We are not responsible for missed shoot dates, rental losses, or production delays. Do not book rentals or productions until gear is in hand and tested.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to “Acts of God,” war, strikes, or pandemics. Force Majeure does not include financial inability to pay or market price fluctuations.

9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

For transactions handled via our US offices, the laws of the State of Florida shall govern. For European transactions, the laws of the country hosting the facilitating FJS office shall apply. Any disputes shall be settled via binding arbitration.
