STOLEN GEAR CHECKER

Cinematography is the art of storytelling through pictures. In order to capture the right visuals for a movie, directors and camera operators use a variety of camera lenses to capture different angles and shots.

the three main types of camera lenses: wide-angle, telephoto, and prime.

Wide-angle lenses are the most common type of camera lens, and they’re typically used for capturing scenes from a wide angle. They provide a wide view of the scene, which can make it easier to capture everything from large crowds to expansive landscapes. They’re also ideal for capturing details in close quarters, such as inside buildings or on city streets.

Telephoto lenses are a specialized type of lens that is used for photographing objects from a distance. They’s often used for capturing photos of people or animals from faraway, giving the viewer a better perspective on the subject.

Telephoto lenses are also good for photographing objects that are difficult to see from close up, such as in low-light settings or when the subject is hidden behind something.

Prime lenses are the most expensive type of camera lens, but they provide the sharpest images.

Below are:

35mm film focal length: This is the most common lens for cinematography. It is great for general purposes, such as capturing street scenes and close-ups of people.

50mm focal length: This lens is perfect for landscapes and wide shots. It gives a flattering perspective to people and objects in the frame, making it popular for documentaries and stories with a natural feel.

85mm focal length: This lens is great for capturing fast-paced action, such as chase scenes or car crashes. Because it has a long focal length, it can capture a lot of detail in a scene.

135mm focal length: This lens is perfect for capturing expansive landscapes or close-ups of people or objects. Because it has a long focal length, it can also create fantastical images that are not possible with other lenses.

Super 8mm film focal length: This is a vintage lens that is no longer in use. It is good for filming quick, spontaneous scenes or for creating a nostalgic feeling in your film. Used for classic movies and older cameras.

16mm film:  its an Older format, used in the 1960s and 1970s.
