IMPERIAL
Cooke Panchro Speed 1 Silver Version Series I are uncoated and rehoused versions of the Cooke Series O f2.0 OPIC lenses introduced in 1925. The Panchros were officially released in 1930. The Cooke Speed Panchro f/2.0 Series I were offered in 11 focal lengths: 24, 28, 32, 35, 40, 47, 50, 58, 75, 100 and 108 mm
The Lenses are from a very old generation, 28,35,40, 70mm, they belong to a legacy of the oldest Cooke Lenses. The lenses contain small light scratches of age between 28, 35,40mm, they have anomalies due to years, but they are still ready for a beautiful rehousing and cleaning that will maintain an incredible look. It can be said that the lenses remain in great quality compared to other S1 series. Important note: the 75mm (Back Element) contains small circular fungus of migratory moisture that affected the third lens.
Key Features & Benefits
Unique Vintage Look: Sought after for its distinct aesthetic qualities, including softer focus and pleasing halation (dreamy glow around highlights).
Historic Legacy: Descended from the iconic Cooke Speed Panchros, the first lenses used for sound films in Hollywood (1927).
Uncoated Design: Offers a distinctive, vintage character compared to modern lenses.
